Greetings Earthling!
Hello! I am Julia Elliott, an artist and illustrator. I’m a mom to 3 beautiful grown children, married to a Special Education Teacher, who also loved to build things. (and well, is also a massage therapist). To say the least we live busy and full lives in Asheville, NC.
As a young child I used to swing on the backyard swing set and make up fantastical stories about dragons and sword fights and outer space adventrues. My imagination always taking me somewhere new.
Today, I enjoy using watercolor and Photoshop to create stories, characters and designs. I’ve always been inspired by Dr. Suess, and Eric Carle and the way they have been able to engage children (and adults) with the stories and illustrations. My goal is to do the same with my own stories and art.
